How do I know you’re the right therapist for me?
I encourage everyone to take some time in the first few sessions to see how it feels to work with me and whether my style feels supportive to you. I offer open-ended sessions with curiosity, compassion, humor, and acceptance. Your comfort is at the heart of making therapy truly helpful.

When will I start to feel better?
It depends! For some clients, they begin to feel better after a few months. Some clients wish to attend longer term therapy to get ongoing support with life stressors. You get out of therapy what you put into therapy. The more you bring into therapy, the more quickly you may begin to notice meaningful change in your life. Your honesty, openness to exploring different perspectives, and willingness to practice new skills are essential to creating change. -
Do you offer sliding scale options?
While I do reserve some therapy sessions for reduced fees, I do not have any open sliding scale spots at this time. I use Mentaya so you can get reimbursement with out-of-network benefits. If you have a PPO insurance plan, you may be eligible for reimbursement a portion of my fee. For more information on payment or to check your benefits, please go to the pricing page.
